If you’re joining us for an in-person DMEI course in New York City or Baltimore, we want your travel experience to be as seamless as your learning experience. This page provides curated information on transportation and lodging to help you navigate your trip with ease. From recommended hotels to nearby accommodations and travel tips, you’ll find everything you need to plan a comfortable and convenient stay.
Baltimore, MD
Course Location: The Johns Hopkins Rehabilitation Network MSK Clinic at Green Spring Station. 10803 Falls Road, Pavilion III, Suite 2100, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093. Please note that this location is not downtown at the hospital. It is located just outside the Baltimore area in a suburb that is about a 25 min drive from the Baltimore Harbor area.
Transportation
The nearest airport is Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), located about 20 miles from the course venue. Baltimore is also accessible by train via Amtrak’s Baltimore Penn Station, which is approximately 15 minutes by car from the recommended hotels near the course.
Taxis and UBER are readily available from both BWI Airport and Baltimore Penn Station, making it easy to reach the course location and nearby accommodations without the need to rent a car.
Nearby Hotels & Accommodation
There are a few hotel options about a 10-minute drive from the course location. You could also play tourist and stay at a hotel in the beautiful Baltimore Harbor area. We do not recommend staying downtown near the main hospital.

Transportation
The closest airport is LaGuardia (LGA), but both Newark Liberty International (EWR) and John F. Kennedy International (JFK) are also convenient options. All three airports offer reliable public transportation to and from Manhattan.
New York City is also easily accessible via Amtrak, with service to Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan. The closest subway stops include the A,C or 1 train to 59th street, Columbus Circle.
